How to create an AI girlfriend (who stays interesting)

Designing the look takes a minute. Making her someone you actually want to talk to next week takes a little more thought. This guide walks through both, using the SatinGF builder as the example.
1. Decide what she is to you
Before choosing a hair colour, pick the relationship. A best friend who roasts your music taste and a romantic partner who asks about your day are different characters, and the relationship style changes how she talks from the very first message.
2. Build the look in order
Work from the big choices to the small ones: ethnicity and age, body type, then hair, eyes and details, then clothing and setting. The setting matters more than people expect: it becomes the backdrop of her portraits and the first impression of her world.
3. Generate a few faces and choose carefully
Generate three or four portraits and pick the one that feels like a person rather than a poster. This face is reused for every future photo and clip, so choose the one you'd recognise.

4. Give her a personality with edges
Characters without opinions get boring fast. Use the sliders to push her somewhere: more sarcastic than sweet, more outgoing than shy. Pick interests you can actually talk about, and one or two you know nothing about so she can teach you.
5. Write (or skip) her first message
A good first message asks a question that's easy to answer. If you leave it blank, she opens with something that fits her personality.
6. The first conversation
Tell her a few real things: your name, what you do, something coming up this week. That gives her memory something to hold on to, and the next conversation starts from there instead of from zero.
